illuminousthoughts:

This comic panel.
As a kid, STC was one of the best things I’d ever read. The Sonic Adventure arc especially, it was dark, took some liberties but yet created something which kept close to the original source material.
Now imagine being a kid, who loves Johnny Lightfoot to pieces. Imagine turning to the page with this panel…and seeing that.
Yeah. I cried. I cried a lot when I saw this. The build up for that scene was intense for a kid’s comic.

Remember when Mark Millar did that comic strip based on the awesome Megadrive game “Streets Of Rage”, that strip that ran in the old Sega-endorsed British comic book “Sonic The Comic”?
I DO.

Sonic the Comic Poster Magazine featuring Shinobi.

These are some of the rarer STC comics out there, I don;y think they were quite so easy to find even when they were first published. Only have 2 issues myself, neither or which are this one.

The latest STC Online is out and we finally have that guest page of Decap Attack by Nigel Kitching and Nigel Dobbyn! I remember seeing the sketch of this at Summer of Sonic 2009!

ferrets-over-cats:

I love how ambiguous these ages are: “Young”.

Also it’s nice to see Fleetway’s Sonic doesn’t eat meat, unlike Archie’s Sonic.

I always liked the fact that Sonic’s favourite cartoons were the same as mine.
